    The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Associate Fiscal Analyst for the Branch Accounting and Procurement office in the Accounting Services unit. 


    This Associate Fiscal Analyst is responsible for the oversight of all JCC assets through management of the Assets Module in FI$Cal.  This module is used to track, record inventory, capitalize assets, and track depreciation.  The reconciliation and upkeep of this module is reflected in the General Ledger and Fixed Asset control accounts.

    The successful candidate will be expected to work in the San Francisco office.



    • Acts as JCC's statewide property inventory management coordinator and serves as the asset management administrator overseeing the inventory of JCC's equipment and property.
    • Determines that recording of assets is in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, GASB 34, and JCC Policies and Procedures.
    • Cost Collections/Billing - Creates billings for share of facilities costs utilizing the FI$Cal automated accounts receivable billing system.
    • Runs AR reports in FI$Cal and works with Facilities Unit to collect past due accounts.
    • Ensures that all applicable transactions in regards to fixed assets and project expenditures are reported in accordance with California Legal Budgetary Basis accounting and other applicable state regulations, with a moderate amount of direct supervision
    • Assists in updating and implementing property inventory policy and procedures.
    • Monitors, approves, and processes Property Survey Reports, Transfers of Location of Equipment, and related documents.
    • Oversees and administers a software database, such as, but not limited to, the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal), which maintains property control.
    • Processes all asset data to depreciable asset book, runs depreciation process, and reconciles to other asset book.




    Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field that would

    provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the assigned area. Additional directly related

    experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.




    Two years as a Fiscal Services Coordinator working in the procurement or accounting function with

    the Judicial Council of California or two years of experience performing the duties of a class

    comparable in the level of responsibility to that of a Fiscal Services Coordinator in a California

    Superior Court or California state-level government entity.

    $5,875 - $8,224 per month

    (Starting Salary: $5,875 per month)
