    If you have a collaborative mindset and excel at working with a diverse team, Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is the place for you.  We have an excellent opportunity for a Research Budget Analyst to work with clinical study investigators and coordinators across the WMCHealth organization, in addition to New York Medical College and study sponsors, in the development of clinical research study budgets.


    In collaboration with sponsors and study teams, you will:


    • Develop and manage research study budgets.
    • Assess actual vs. planned expenditures.
    • Understand when budget amendments might be appropriate.
    • Process budget amendments, as needed.
    • Oversee research invoicing.
    • Train and be proficient in Medicare Coverage Analysis (MCA)
    • Conduct MCA, if needed.
    • Review budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Medicare Coverage Analysis.
    • Prepare Business Services Agreements, as required.
    • Examine whether budget submissions can be achieved based on known organizational constraints and inform management of potential problem areas.
    • Assist in preparing monthly metric reports to be used by departments.
    • Assist in special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other requests from CRC leadership.


    In addition to strong analytical skills and exceptional electronic spreadsheet construction skills (Excel), ideal candidates will have:


    • A bachelor's degree
    • Five (5) years of clinical research study budget development
    • An understanding of Medicare Coverage Analysis
    • Training in Medical Coverage Analysis preferred
