The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Director, Operating Budget. The Director, Operating Budget is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Budget and Planning (OBP), Operating Budget Division. The incumbent is responsible for providing budget formulation, execution, reporting and analysis, advice and technical assistance to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) and Associate DCFO (ADCFO) for Budget and Planning.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications: Eight (8) years of progressive experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as directing and overseeing all phases of a large-scale budget for a complex organization; serving as a technical authority and advisor on budget and financial concepts, principles and legislation; ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines; and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
