    JOB TITLE:     ASSOCIATE HR ANALYST

    OVERVIEW

    The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Associate HR Analyst for the Branch Accounting and Procurement office in the Payroll Services unit. 

     

    This position works in support of those trial courts utilizing the Phoenix HR/Payroll system for the timely and accurate payment of wages.  Duties require entry-level knowledge and experience related to the laws and rules governing human resources and payroll administration.  Incumbents are directly supervised by the Human Resources Supervisor and are expected to make regular contact with internal and external customers, perform HR, payroll, and benefit related transactions, complete research assignments, and facilitate system changes.

    The successful candidate will be expected to work in the Sacramento office.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Act as a main point of contact and support for trial court customers utilizing the Phoenix HR/Payroll system.
    • Enters, processes, and maintains HR master data, benefits, payroll, and time and attendance requests from full and self-service courts utilizing SAP for HR, payroll, and benefit administration.
    • Provides ongoing support in accordance with service level agreements that include roles and responsibilities and expected response timeframes for inquiries, programs, and services.
    • Reconcile and distribute vendor reports, files, and payment data.
    • Initiates and utilizes payroll reconciliation and wage type reports to extract, download, review, balance, and save employer and employee records of earnings, payments, and deductions.
    • Review support requests, initiate tickets, and support the implementation of system improvements, support packs, and new or changing court requirements.
    • Tests configuration of the system by reviewing the test scenarios and results, validating rules and regulations against new or changing configuration, creating test scripts and performing additional testing when applicable.
    • Uses Solution Manager (ticket tracking system) to monitor and enter status updates throughout the ticket lifecycle until making the final recommendation to close.
    • Represent the HR Shared Services team as a Subject Matter Expert at various team meetings.

     

     

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a directly

    related field that would provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the assigned area. Additional

    directly related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience processing payroll transactions.
    • Experience with SAP or other similar ERP solutions.
