    Annual salary: $57,199 to $117,197 DOQ DOE

    The Role:

    • Analyze and prepare the annual countywide budget.
    • Assist in departmental budget preparations.
    • Evaluate staffing, services, and policies to recommend budget changes.
    • Develop analytical models and assist in long-term planning.
    • Participate in policy issue analysis.
    • Prepare financial reports and conduct year-end analysis.
    • Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and team players.


    Experience, Skills, Abilities, and Education:

    • Budget Analyst I:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      • Two (2) years of professional work experience.
    • Budget Analyst II:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      • Three (3) years of professional work experience.
    • Senior Budget Analyst:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional designation or Master's degree in a finance-related field is desirable.
      • Five (5) years of professional related work experience.


    Salary and Benefits:

    • Annual salary: $57,199 to $117,197 (depending on qualifications and experience).
